Contact Sharing features of iOS is now utilized by various Digital Loan apps for sending messages, SMS or Whatsapp to the friends or other persons in the contact list. Many a time they call them for recovery of dues or failed EMI also. It is some type of harassment for those who are not at all related.

Steps to Turn off Contact Sharing on iOS
- Go into the Settings>Privacy
- Select ‘Contacts’
- Choose the app you want to disable contact sharing
